Perfectly located near essential tourist sites, with a very friendly staff and a lovely lobby view of the Yu Garden. Breakfast options are varied and the room was comfortable.
The pool needs cleaning as the edges are mouldy, and there were occasional issues with maintaining a comfortable room temperature during winter.

Oi, the location's bang on, right near the Yu Garden! Room was cleaner than me mum's kitchen, and the robot room service was a right novelty. Bit of a letdown with the pools, though, they could do with a scrub, mate.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel On The Bund. The location was ideal, just a short walk to Yu Gardens and various charming restaurants. The staff, especially the lovely manager Lefteris, provided outstanding service and local tips that enhanced my trip.
